Uxcell Glacier - Start-up

Hey, I'm new to this forum, so I hope ya'll can bear with me.

I was recently given a 1 GB Glacier, but I don't know how to start using it. I installed the CD, then connected the player to the computer. The computer didn't recognize it (because nothing showed up in the "My Computer" folder, so I let it "electricize" for a few hours, came back, and still nothing.

How can I get the computer to recognize my device? There's nothing wrong with the USB port itself because I tried it on other things and it worked.

Please help me out! Sad

Hi, have you tried turning it on? There is an on/off switch on the side closest to the screen. Try turning it on then connecting it.

If it won't turn on, check to make sure the battery is there (it's removable with the slip on cover)

I'm not that skilled with electronics, but I know how to turn most items on and off. Wink

I plug it into the computer, and it's turned on. Still no signs of recognizing the device from my computer.
