If you don't want to participate, is there a reason?

Woud like to see what it is all about, however when I look, I just see the countdown timer and nothing else.

I wasn't aware you didn't see anything. I've always been able to see everything on that post, that's the countdown clock, the rules and the clues (the clues obviously don't come out until the countdown clock has reached "zero").

really just look at it and take no notice, am not really sure why???

Mainly it may be bacause if i am entering a competition i just want to go to it, answer some questions and submit my entry.

This comp seems to random in that somewhere, at some time some clues will appear and not knowing when or where seems to lose my interest

as i have said it would be easier and more productive to just post up some questions in a static location and people could just answer them there and then and enter.
People will forget to look, forget or not bothered to come back to see if there are any clues - tooo random

The main reason why I wanted to run the competition as it is was to try to get members to come back more on a regular basis. So that's why I decided to released the clues at different times and I put up the countdown clock so people know when to come back to find it.......

I might have to rethink it for the next competition.

I think alot of it has to do with the time zones. I looked last night and over here the last set of clues was scheduled to appear after midnight. I'm usually in bed no later than 11:00.

Otherwise, I like the idea of this competition. I love treasure hunts.

Oops. Just saw in the competition thread where you were having trouble posting the clues because of internet trouble. Anyway, this is the first time I've gotten to see them.
