hi, if i buy a portable DVD player with usb my question is this: will it self power off the dvd player when only plugged into the usb port to play movies in the car? If I need it powered by acdc...is there a double adapter that plugs into the car...as the dvd player will be plugged into it already!...I assume I would need a dicksmith variable power plug in type thing...but will it work plugged into a car with 2 devices effectively plugged in to it? Cheers

Unfortunately, the USB won't have enough power to power the MVolt. You will need a seperate power supply. If you just plug the Mvolt into the USB port of your computer only (without the AC power plugged it), you will notice that the device won't boot up or show up in Windows. It's not till you plug in the AC that it will work.

So, it looks like you will have to get seperate power supply for the Mvolt for your car. Just make sure the voltage is the same as the power supply, it should specify this on the adaptor itself.
