I think this is just another RockChip-Player with RK2606A- or RK2608A-Chip. The RK2606A is playing only xvid-coded avi-files with 224x176 pixels (in some cases the firmware could limited it to 220x176). The RK2608A is playing only these kind of avis with 320x240 Pixel. A 2 inch screen got typically 224 (or 220) x 176 Pixel. A 2.4 inch or 2.8 inch screen got typically 320x240 pixel.

You will get faster success with the freeware viDrop, which is downloadable here at "Downloads/Tools". Download the "50 presets 4 viDrop" too and extract them into the presets-folder of the installed viDrop (after installing viDrop).

Try to use the "Generic Rockchip 320x240 high.ini"-preset or the "Generic Rockchip 224x176 high.ini"-preset and convert a very small video, upload it to your player and pray that he will play ...
