After my cheap Nano clone died, I got this mp4: http://www.denver-electronics.com/pages/visnyhed.asp?newsguid=23913&menuGuid=
I have had it over 1 month now, and I love it!

Pic: http://www.mympxplayer.org/album_showpage.php?pic_id=237

I got problem's with the firmware, but I went to the devner site and downloaded the new firmware, installed and it work's perfect now. Wink

Sound: very good sound and bass, great headphones, the first pair died, I got a replacement from the store though Smile Even good sound with videos.
9/10

Screen: 65K colours, 1,5", but enough good to watch Music Vids, TV eps, and maybe even a whole movie, it uses the format SMV, that has very good quality. Bright and sharp. A lot better quality than on my Nano Clone. 8/10

Pictures: Some looks good, and some don't. Some doesn't even work. 6/10

Battery: Soo good, it lasts for like over 10h when listening to music at almost full sound, about 3 to 4h video. 10/10

Menu: Easy to use, nice looking, the only problem is that it takes about a second before I go to another song when I browse them. 7/10

How it looks: Doesn't look like a cheap nano clone, very thin and small. 9/10

Price: I paid about 75 USD for the 1Gb. The 2Gb costs about 100 USD. It's cheap here in sweden cuz everything is so expensive here, a 4Gb iPod nano costs about 285 USD here :/ So it get's a 8/10.

Overall: 8/10.

I love my mp4. Smile

Nice. What is the size of the player, which firmware version does it hold? It looks like a samsung, the SMV format is used by my gf's samsung too. How is video play, smooth?

UNIT SIZE: 42 (W) X 91 (H) X 9 (D) MM
(Like iPod Nano)

The firmware was "DENVER MPG-1011" when I got it, but then when it messed up I upgraded it to "DENVER MPG-2011 update" After that, the mp4 has worked perfect.

The video play is surprisingly very smooth and colourfull, a lot better than on most 1.5" mp4 players. I enjoy video a lot on it Smile

I bougt this MP4 player yesterday and so far it's great and all, however i do have a big problem with it, there is a constant "beep" sound which i sometimes ever hear through the music, my friend has the same problem with his.

My firmware version is 3.007 which is the latest, maybe a reinstall of the firmware wil solve it?

Oh, ok, just realised that. But I think that it cuz it doesn't have dual chips, so you can 'hear the hardware' lol...

hm, i dont think so, it's probably just current that "leaks" into the soundchannel instead of going to ground. A design flaw, hothing to do about it exept build your own filter lol Razz

I have the same Player 2G with firmware ver. 3.009, until now without any problem, but i want to know how many time it takes to complete battery charge. I know that is a basic question, but the answer is not on the manual.

himage, I charge it for like 2 to 4 hours, and check when the battery is full, then I stopp to charge...I don't think that it can get 'over charged' Because I have charged it for a whole night, and the battery is so good. Hehe.

cbdsetzer, maybe, but I think that it's because it has only one chip.
