i posted this earlier, or at least i thought i did. im having problems here tonight. everytime i try to post i have to sign back in before its published. i can't remember exactly what i said word for word but here's the idea:
i forgot to add one thing. i like this seller because max hasn't made up a name for the player. a lot of stores and ebay sellers will make up a name for the clone. its a lie.
the mp4 players from china dont have names. sellers try to make the player sound more creditable. if a seller lies about one thing they will lie about other things to.
i like max for keeping the player honest and at least he's not trying to make the player into something its not.

So what's wrong with giving a nameless player a name? I -like- the fact that some sellers give them names! It makes it possible to differentiate one from the other. Instead of having to upload pictures and firmware info and everything just to be able to get people to know what player you're talking about. The fact that they don't have names is pure madness. The fact that UXCELL gave my Glacier a name (where other sellers havent) makes it easy for me to talk about the specific player I have.
I would not trust them as they sell a 4GB player which we all know do not exist.
P.S. You have a PM

If u actually following the news, then u would know they are just exist ... Dont said it with outdated proof .

The new firmware Version 9.0.43 has been optimized to take full advantage of the 1.8 screen with a wide screen 160x128 layout and at last a player that can not only browse and load folders but individual files as well.
Today I recieved an identical looking player with the same chipset but firmware version 9.0.50. The menu layout is for horizontal use, only videos are played back vertically to make use of the screen's aspect ratio.
For such a rather cheap device (32€ for 2GB via Ebay) the player indeed is impressive, the only downside so far is the flimsy on-off-switch and bad recording quality
/Edit
The firmware seems to be a little buggy. The player memorizes which file in which folder he played last and tries to return to this file after a restart, but if the folder was deleted in the meantime the audio function will always display "empty disk" and quit immediatly although the player is full of other files. Unfortunately there's no way to get the audio software to look elswhere for files so the only way to resolve the problem is to restore the old folder, to navigate out of it manually and finally to delete it again.
