Nice... but can this be a real 1gb capacity? I think not! He probably is taking so much to ship, just if someone sends it back, just get's his 7,99 punds and is screwd.

These are very nice. I can get these but wasn't sure if they would sell good or not. I noticed the color black as well which Apple doesn't make the shuffle in black.

Well, I just made a offer on one off the Shuffle Clones and I won it. I paid 38 Euro for it, shipping included. I will give a review when I receive it. When it looks good and the quality is okay, than it is a bargain at 1/3 of the Apple retail price. If not...........I loose 38 Euro. I'v ordered green color.

Do people actually buy that crap? Why? I thought the Shuffle was a unanimous failure, why's it still around? The original Shuffle sucks, the new Shuffle sucks 2 x as much, and a clone shuffle can only suck more. Mp3 only player with limited features, no file browsing, cost @ 28lbs, the price of a good 2GB mp4 player? Brilliant. If you can get people to buy that then marketing really is everything. I'd much rather buy a Samsung if its to be mp3 only, it will have an actual screen, and it will blow that little toy away in every possible feature, and cost less to boot.

Yeah but it sure is small, like realy SMALL (I mean it!), I had one in my hands a week ago. And it's cute but whatever...

ps: oh and 38€ is like 1/2 the price of a real one down here... it's 79€.

I think this will be a big hit, I really don't need 1gig of space on a plyer that has no screen, but I like this form factor, the real shuffle clip is weak so I hope the clone picks up on it and improves... I just wish they had the orange colour...

also I heard that you can "fast forward" by holding down the >> or << buttons... I'm gonna get one if uxcell sells it.

*I think that apple made such a weak clip so that it does not crimp the shirt or whatever the material is...

please do a review when you get it and let us know how the paint job/ clip is...thanks

Here it is even 89 Euro, nobody knows why we have to pay 10 Euro more than the rest of Europe. Just for that reason I will never buy a Apple music player.

So the reason to buy the 2nd gen Apple Shuffle design is because of its size or clip? Well this 1gb player from Samsung is very small and has a very sturdy clip. Plus an actual screen, fm radio and no doubt better sound quality, as well as build quality. Did I mention its currently $20US shipped and is going to go soon?:

SAMSUNG YP-F1 ZW 1GB DIGITAL MP3 PLAYER

Sorry, unless I was giving one to a 12yr old girl, I can not see why the Shuffle is a better choice, especially at its price! Having shopped for an mp3 player recently (see my review of the Panasonic here, which blows away the Shuffle in every way and probably at a cheaper price), to me the great advantage of getting a smaller mp3 player is that you can forego the irreplaceable lithium battery that only lasts 5hrs or so. If, for the same money or less, I can buy a unit with a "real" battery (aa/aaa) that can last 40 hrs or more, and be replaced for pennies from any sales counter in the free world, I find that a no brainer... I know the original Shuffles were considered a bomb. How well are these 2nd gen ones selling anyway?

I think michiganjfrog hates the Shuffle Smile

Don't take it too serious, the shuffle is in my opinion just a nice gadget.

Well I wouldnt say I "hate" the Shuffle, or that I take it all that seriously... its just an mp3 player, right?! I've never eveb seen the new Shuffle in person, let alone tried it in order to properly hate it! But from all I have seen of Apple and their adherents, I think people are too quick to choose the "Apple option" (which is usually a more expensive option), allowing Apple's marketing or design to be the biggest influence instead of letting "common sense" rule. I think that no matter what the product, if its made by Apple, there are much better equivalents out there at lower prices! They often get little respect or attention because they have different designs (I dont think its a coincidence all of Apple's products feature that round clickwheel....).

With the original Shuffle, what became apparent in review after review I read, is that people were paying more for *less* of a player, in comparison to the competition. In just about every sense of the word (except connection to iTunes). And yet, Apple seems to have sold quite a tidy sum of Shuffles nevertheless. (It may be considered a design failure to most but to Apple, even a design failure seems to sell well!). I'm sure you'll be happy with your Shuffle clone nevertheless... and I can see the appeal of this player (simplicty and size). I too would like to see a hands on review of the unit...

i think that the shuffle clone is a peice of crap. why? well, right now i'm saving to buy a new mp4 player. one of my friends lets me use his ipod shuffle first generation cuz he has an ipod video. the only thing i like about the shuffle is that it switches threw songs like a normal mp3 player.fast. right when u press the button. not like the nano clones. that means that the shuffle clone will go any faster? i dont think so.
that is why i think the shuffle clone is a peice of shit

Let's say it's the smallest 1GB player in the world. I would say thats kinda cool, so it's all about the status, who cares? I just don't think that the ripoff has the exact same size and maybe is out of plasic instead of metal. So then it would even look like shit and I would say bad deal, but we don't know.

Probably not!

It is the exact same size and made of metal. In fact, it uses the same aluminum extrusion section that the metal pod does - it's just cut shorter.

This one is also made of metal, is really small (1" cube), goes up to 2GB, and has an oled display. It's really cute, I was thinking of getting some of these.
