I just got one of these as well,- an 8gb... and can't find an AMV converter that will work to make the video fir the full screen- any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have exactly the same player with 2GB memory. Only , on ebay it was supposed to have 8 GB and it stopped working the day I received it. I have reset the memory chip and formatted my player and now he's dead. If I don't find the correct firmware, I can't even hope for a ressurection. Can anybody send me the correct firmware or tell me where I can find it ? Many thanks Alex

Me also, I have exactly the same player with 8GB memory that I have recieved this week. I have extract the firmware with "s1fwx.exe" The version is 9.1.51 that you can find here. http://dl.free.fr/aX2a0bB9q/s1fwx_v26_mympxplayer_org.rar helis-64

I think I have same player (from eBay/Hong Kong) as 2GB but turned out to be 1GB.It stopped working & I need to find out firmware version for it. Anyone able to help?Also, if anyone could use the s1clone tool from www.s1mp3.de to create a raw image of the flash chip..? Can provide more details if anyone needs them.... Cheers
